A beautiful refurbished townhouse on a residential stretch of Van Horne Ave. is the setting for a romantically pleasant restaurant of medium-priced Italian fare. Excellent starters like grilled vegetables, melting carpaccios (both beef and salmon) and fisherman's salad lead to pastas or to rich, generously portioned classic Italian veal and chicken dishes.
The nightly fish special is top quality, and the dessert list is topped by a very sexy mascarpone-stuffed crepe with a chocolaty custard. Good list of Italian wines, and excellent service. Reservations on weekends.
