Hubert Streicher prepares his French bistro cooking with the same mastery and finesse as when he first opened here, putting on the big spread. Some wines are also available by the glass, for those of more modest means. Le tout Outremont comes here to see and be the scene. Beautiful on the terrace in summer. Private room available for up to thirty-five people. Customer parking also available. Great decompression chamber on the way back from Paris.

Sample menu: Salade aux gésiers confits, oyster mushrooms sautéed in garlic sauce, curried endives with walnuts, peppered beef flank, stingray with capers and lemon, calf kidneys dijonnaise, salmon scallops with sorrel, calf liver in raspberry vinegar, oeufs a la neige, crême brûlée, hot apple pie.
