Tne Mediterranean dishes here feature fish and seafood, pasta, grilled meats and couscous prepared with North African, Italian and French touches. Prices for main courses begin as low as $7.95. rising to a high of $17.95.

A three-course table d'hote ranges between $10.95 and $14.95. Sauteed squid was succulent and piquant—baby squid gently fried in olive oil, spiked with garlic and a dash of crushed red chili. A grill trio -- a plump breast of chicken, a thick, boneless steak of lamb and two merguez sausages -- made for a substantial meat-lover's dinner.

Linguini and other pastas were treated with respect topped with zesty sauces.
