You're in for a long, if somewhat pricey, evening of fine Italian dining at this restaurant. They're justifiably proud of their carpaccio—thin slices of a superior filet mignon marinated and anointed to make it melt in your mouth.

Spaghetti carbonara is cooked at its traditional best—al-dente noodles tossed at the last minute in a buttery of finely diced pancetta and finished with lightly beaten egg yolk. Crab claws in a garlicky diavolo sauce are an inspired addition to the shrimp and scamp) dishes. And marsala, when used in sauces, shines through boldly.
