Two restaurants in one: at lunchtime, Asie Moderne is a dim sum palace that rivals the Karn Fung; in the evening, the Cambodian and Thai dishes come out, eclipsing the Chinese offerings on the dinner menu.
The proprietor is Cambodian and the cooks, we were told, are Thai, so that's the way to go: the difference between the two cuisines is that Cambodian. is less spicy than Thai. Try the beef salad, or just about anything Phnom Penh style. One added bonus: note that closing time.
