Competent North American style Indian food, with more animal protein and tamer seasoning than the original, is the hallmark of this comfortable little place. Appetizers sampled were interesting and good value—a shrimp bhoona puri ($4.50) was particularly briny and pleasing.
The butter chicken ($10.95) was so delicate, unctuous and buttery/creamy that it was almost more a drug than a food. A lamb curry, though too mild, had a decent portion of lean, tender meat.
