Montreal links (cont.)
Some more Montreal links:
Fourchette Newcomer. Looks like it has the right idea, but needs to expand the content. Don't want to do a complicated search only to get an address and telephone number.
Bar-resto.com One of the old-timers, but it's looking a little forlorn. Has links to online restos.
GoodEatingMontreal.com Been around for a while. A few reviews, good for wine. Commercial, so we're not sure how unbiased it is.
Tordine.com guide to Old Montreal Restos No reviews here, but a gathering of addresses and telephone numbers and pretty little pictures
Alvin Loh's Restaurant Reviews Alvin has gone to that great Brain Drain in the sky, but his cherished reviews still live on
Tourist-y links:
Bonjour Quebec Tourist info. For the curious, is not half as small as the French page.
Tourism Montreal Where to stay, what to do, where to shop
City-Vu Seems to be a search engine for businesses. Some restos have sites here.
Montrealcam.com There I am, waving to the webcam plastered to the side of McDonald's on St. Catherine

Find-a-grave Montreal Find the grave of some famous people buried in Mount Royal and Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemeteries. Among the luminaries are several Titanic victims and survivors, Pierre Laporte, the minister who was murdered during the October Crisis of 1970 and several former mayors of Montreal. Fascinating.
Walking tour of Chinatown Barry wrote this piece on walking around Chinatown. A must-read.
